Where Shall I Go?

Composition-Production, May 2025

I composed the 4 tracks of “Where Shall I Go?” for my visual artist friend Siyu back in May this year. I am very grateful for this opportunity as an artist. Imagining along Siyu’s poetic world, I was able to cross that river of cultures, and once again look at our winding journeys back and forth across the two places. To think and to juxstapose. To envision and also feel free to lost. I hope you enjoy these 4 tracks.

春夢/Dream of Spring

Composition-Production, June 2024

Dream of Spring is the soundtrack composed for film of the same name. The music and the film together explore a female’s experience of sensuality, and carry the layer of subverting the connotation of the phrase “wet dream” in western contexts.

Music-wise it was interesting on working of something standing in the intersection of Eastern Asia / Futurism / Feminism. For it’s an existing topic but not many expressed it yet. It was fascinating to think of how to express the view via music.
