Flow
Ambisonics, March 2026
Presented at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival (NYCEMF) (2026), CCRMA Spring Concert @ Bing Concert Hall (2026), and CCRMA Open House, Flow is a 16-channel Ambisonics encoded fixed-media sound art that explores the transient nature of human experience through the sonic metaphor of water. It reflects both the cyclical patterns of life and the idea that one can never step into the same water twice. The piece weaves together layers of recorded vocals, synthesizers, and algorithmically stretched materials processed through ChucK, creating an immersive and fluid spatial environment. This project is done in collaboration with Lejun Min.
